My family and I just moved to this area a couple of months ago and I was hoping to get my 5 children involved in some local group activities before the new school year began. Does anyone know if there are any homeschooling associations or any homeschooling organizations offering children's activities around Highlandville, Nixa or Ozark? I already know about the ones in Springfield and Branson but I was hoping for something a little closer.
We are also looking for a local nondenominational church. We aren't comfortable in really big churches but aren't very interested in the really small ones that can't offer children's activities either. We really love the praise and worship and live band but the charasmatic ones don't correspond to our beliefs. Any suggestions? |

check this website...there are a few home school groups listed. If they aren't near your town/city, I'm sure they can direct you to something else.
