Irish (or other quaint and fun) Pubs in Springfield
Hey Springfieldians
There's going to be several Irish Gaelic football teams coming to town this Saturday to play a few games of this quientiessentially Irish sport and we need some place to gather and drink a few pints and eat afterwards. We know about Finnegan's Wake but are there any other Irish pubs in town? If not, how about some other pubs with some good grub? Also, could you offer your opinions of Finnegan's if you've been there? The online reviews make it sound like a poor American knock off.
Thanks in Advance!

I have not been to Finnegan's so I cannot comment. You might consider the Fox & Hound which might be something close to what you are looking for. Now if you were headed toward Niagra on the Lake, or Broadripple (Indianapolis), I know of really great pubs there! LOL

You might try Galloway Station. Also if you find yourself down in Branson, Waxy's Irish Pub on the landing is cool (and they have 1/2 price drinks and appetizers on Friday's between 4-6). Guiness on tap.
