So great when we hear back from the OP!

I've always felt that Ozark was a little bit easier to navigate if only because once you get to 65 you're out......and in Nixa you're stuck on roads with stop lights.

However, it depends on where in Nixa and where in Ozark. You can have a Nixa address and be fairly close to 65...

And somebody mentioned Branson traffic. Yes, yes, I've heard it for the 5 years I've lived here, but it really is a non-issue once you know your way around and can choose which way to get where you're going. I rarely get stuck in any traffic. Now watch. As soon as I say that, I'll come around a corner and get behind the now-open-for-the-2009-season-silver-dollar-city traffic...

I get much more frustrated in Springfield during drive times.

I moved to Highlandville, but work and go to church in Nixa. so I tend to spend more time in Nixa, but as soon as the overpass in Nixa is finished, Ozark will be a close second.

Smile Relocating to Missouri

We are planning on taking a week or so in February to go to Missouri...Ozark is the main town we are interested in. Also have checked into Nixa as well. My significant other lived in Joplin, Mo for 5 yrs before moving back here to Iowa. We are now planning on moving back to Missouri this next spring. Could someone tell me about the apartments and duplexes in Ozark and what you consider are the best ones. It will just be the two of us so we are looking for a 2 bedroom and prefer 2 bath apartment. Please give me some insite to the town of Ozark and surrounding communities. Thanks!!!

Under the influx of out-of-staters, transplants, newcomers and interlopers, the South will indeed rise in population. It just won't be Southern any more.

Leaving Colorado - To answer your question, out my back door in Nixa, we can be in Branson in about 20 minutes. From Ozark it can take a bit longer, depending on traffic conditions and highway work. Hope this helps.
