Default ATV riding at Chadwick !!!

I ride my 05 Honda Rincon on the Chadwick trails once or twice a week. How many other ATV riders are out there?

That sounds like a lot of fun but I don't have anything to ride. I think most people around here are into a little more tame things, sort of indoor people.

The kind of riding I do is pretty tame. I just trail ride, no extreme stuff for me. I can't walk very far and ATV riding is a way that I can see miles of nature. Most of the time I'm doing less than 15 mph at my fastest pace. I watch the deer, fox, turkey, even saw a bear one day. Bought a camera a mounth ago and have a lot of pictures from the trails. I ride for two or three hours every time I go. Deprnding on which trails I take, that can be as little as eight or nine miles to maybe twenty miles. That is a real work-out but it is relaxing to. There are people of all ages that ride at Chadwick. I've seen 4 yr. olds and eighty + yr. olds there. If a person is careful, there is no reason to get hurt. About as dangerous as riding a bicycle. If you try to get fast and put on a show, you will hurt yourself before too long.

Haha wow!

I have rode my ATV at Chadwick several times. Of course I'm no longer living in Missouri. I used to have my Grizzly and I took it out almost every weekend until I left.

If you're ever out this way by West Virginia, you gotta try the Hatfield & McCoy Trail. Top Notch!

But I agree with you, I'm a slow rider. People who show off are the ones who get hurt most times..I like to enjoy nature..

I'm going riding at Chadwick in the morning. All the mudholes will be full and I probable won't be able to cross some creeks but I will at least see how badly the trails washed out.

Does a 984 lb Honda float ? Ha Ha!

Oh, it holds 5 gal. of gas, thats 40 lbs. and I weigh 228 and my tool kit is about 20 lbs.

I guess I won't try to float across anything.
