Default Can anyone give me some insight into Preston, Mo. please?

Iam a senior lady, thinking of a move from California to a small acreage in Preston, Mo. I have been in a lot of towns in the Springfield area but never to the Preston area and I know nothing about it. I know it is a small town, but is it senior friendly?
How far to a lake or river, or even a small stream?
How far is a Walmart and hospital?

Thanks for any information you can give me..

There is not that much in Preston. There is Senior Center in Hermitage.Bulk of shopping WalMart and such I would say Bolivar,Camdenton and Buffalo.

Hospital there is one in Bolivar and Osage Beach. At present I'm seeing a Doctor at the Clinic in Urbana. She likes the Hospital at Osage Beach.
