Definitely. And do not be in that trade. When I applied just recently for a construction company and asked for the going rate where I moved from, the guy looked at me and laughed. I used to make 18/hour, this guy wanted to pay me 8/hour. I was like WTF, seriously. I do not mind taking less money, especially in this economy, but 8 really? For a person with 23 years experience? I asked him if he would go 12, that seemed fair to me. He said nope, he could hire a mexican tomorrow for 7-9/hour.
