I realize the AAU season is coming to an end for the year, but we are looking for a team for my son for next year or whenever a team starts up. He is 12 years old and has played competive basketball in the area since he was 4 years old (The Courts, Y, Boys Club, among others).
He usually plays the guard position because of his ball handling skills, but has the size to play more of a forward. He just turned 12 in May 2009 and is about 5'9" tall. He is great at getting to the basket and shoots the ball really well. Has won many awards at basketball camps at C of O and Drury.
We would really like to find a team in the Springfield/Branson area. Branson would be better, but we are willing to do whatever it takes. He is just looking for an opportunity to try out and show what he can offer.
If you know of a team or have a team that might need a solid player going into next year, please contact me for a tryout. They won't be disappointed.
