Anyone know what a C.N.A. would make around there?
I do appreciate your input.

I'm thinking a Certified Nuclear Administrator would make more! (If you could find a job doing that! )

Start around minimum wage and go up very slow, very small.

Wages of most kind are not high in the Branson area.

Its unfortuate. It seems that the cost of living is lower. So in the long run it would even out.My grandmother has been a C.N.A. for yrs and is making around 16 an hr here, but she pays 1000 a month rent for an apt.

For the region, $16 an hour for any job is pretty good. Very few make that much. Cost of living is lower in some parts of the Ozarks but NOT in Branson.

My mortgage here is 1500 a month. My house was 200,000.My husband and I together are making 60,000 a yr.Now correct me if Im wrong, but if we came there and say made 30,000 a year it would even out because our mortgage wouldnt be that high.We want to buy land.Im not opposed to putting a double wide on it.We have been living life in the fast lane for the last 5 yrs.Killing ourselves just to make ends meet.We want the simple life again.

Two years ago my husband made $60,000 a year at his job in SWMO. That doesn't include my earnings. Today he makes less than half that amount at the same job, same company and after 25 years thanks to pay cuts. I also work, both as a freelance writer as well as outside the home but things are tight at our current income.

Missouri isn't guaranteed to provide "the simple life" with lower cost of living. Every bill I have has gone up over the past few months, not due to usage but due to increases.

If you owe nothing but a mortgage, buy your land outright, and have simple bills (no credit card balances etc.) you might make it on $30,000 but it will be close living.

Well we dont both cars are paid for.All credit cards are used only on a need to basis.I have a few department store oneswith small balances because I love to shop.Nothing is maxed out tho.So the only bills we have are the essentials. No loans except our house,we should make around 20,000 on it.Give or take a little.(My cousin is buying it.)We live very moderately.I know most ppl think they do as well.30,000 was just an estimate.Who knows! It seems alot of ppl have posted that wages are not so great around there.I currently work at a bank,I know I wont make what I make here without a doubt.Thats sad about you husband's job.You invest 25 yrs to a company, and thats what you get in return. You got me a little worried now.
