Ive been to springfield several times and this is what I have seen:
incredibly insane traffic a super freeway even on sidestreets.
if you are looking for something drive by several times to actually find it
and noone slows down to let you in and most dont know they have a brake to slow
down!!

homeless and beggars everwhere . especially around the north side.
have been told not to give them anything. drove into fazollis parking lot
last week and some young kids came up to car and said they were hungry
wanted me to buy them food. I told them go to a church or salvation army.
they said "why"

have never met any bible thumpers or meth heads.
typical midwestern weather. want a good motel to stay at, Homestay inn is good

apartments. they look good on the web but when you drive up to them they look like a
third world dump!! if there are any good apartments out there I would love to know
just my opinion.

oh by the way the meth heads are in branson

Hi everyone! When i read about some young person complaining about the Bible thumpers, and the slowness of the road, i think yes thats a place I'd like to visit. Based on how the young people voted Obama in the elections, anything they pick would be the opposite of what I'd pick.

Sounds like a nice place to live where we dont have the liberal young people voters for Obama!

lol Yes it is NOT liberal out here. Liberal is almost a dirty word to a lot of folks.

I had considered a move to SF, but my standards are much higher! The city has such poor planning (talk about SPRAWL) and the downtown is full of homeless and druggies. I've heard it's the meth capitol of the nation, and I believe it. The city appears to have no zoning or ordinances - a soup kitchen will be allowed right next door to a commercial business who eventually must shutter their doors due to public urination, blaring music, and belligerent panhandling. They appear to encourage homelessness - so therefore they get even MORE of it. Basically, the bar is mighty low there in SF. Lest I forget, one of the biggest churches in the nation is headquartered in SF, but you would never know it. The city sponsors the homeless in commercial buildings rather than where they should be - the church and Salvation army.
