Indeed... sincere thanks to all who have served, are currently serving, and will be serving.

Those that serve, often placing lives on the line, to uphold the values and freedoms, that too many of us civilians too often sadly take for granted - again, thanks.

How about some of you with influence in your communities get your chamber of commerce to encourage businesses, schools, courtrooms, colleges to have an 11-second "moment of silence" at 11 a.m. on 11-11 next year (and every year) as a tribute to veterans? I have no influence in my community, but I'm going to try anyway.

And thanks to all you veterans for your service.
