Questions about Gemstone Homes (St. George, Cedar City: custom home, contractor, license)

I am interested in finding a good builder. Can anyone provide me with positive or negative information regarding Gemstone Homes? Thank you

I work as a subcontractor for several builders in Cedar City, and while I can't say anything about Salisbury, I find in general that using a small local builder can provide you more attention and generally a better quality of work than using a "production" type of builder. A production builder hires the cheapest subcontractor and is more interested in quantity, not quality.

The builder you mentioned may be different, I don't know.

I did do a little research on Gemstone, they have built 10 homes this year and have no discipline citations from the State License Board.
I can't recommend anyone in St. George, but do know a few in Cedar City that would build for you.

Thank you toby04. The general information is appreciated. I am hoping to hear from others, as well, who have purchased homes or have had custom homes built by Gemstone.
