Yes it seems all things are relative to were you have lived or now live. I just can't believe my wife and daughter are so enthusiastic about going. Obviously nervous but good with the move! We plan to put the house up for sale by June we need to get it fire sale ready so to speak

You can check out the schools right at home.

GreatSchools - Public and Private School Ratings, Reviews and Parent Community

It is considered by the education field, the best evaluation of schools in the country. You will note that very few schools are in near the top tier in St George area, and most will be at the bottom half or lower. Education in St George area is not a high priority To get a decent education for a couple of super smart kids, one of my sons and his family had to leave the area to find a good school system. Another son just moved here in Montana where we relocated to, to get schools in the 8 to 10 level (top tier), as their youngest son was not getting a decent education.

Not sure how the fireworks are in the St. George area. But if you are up north of Salt Lake........Clearfield City has the best fireworks anywhere!

IF you are heading to St George, you can stop in Mesquite, NV at the Eureka Casino. The owners, the Lee Family, are paying for fireworks and bringing in the Nevada Pops...it is called Fireworks over the red mesa.

Default Not sure exactly where in St. George,.......

Last year, I watched from a little south of St. George Blvd. They were shooting them off from a stadium downtown. They actually had them go off from two places. From the red cliffs north of St. George Blvd, and the stadium itself. It was a good show. Not sure what they are doing this year, but I assume it'll be similar.
