True on the rail service, but Amtrak provides bus service (partnering with Greyhound) to Kingman which is still quicker that going to Flagstaff.

Amtrak still has a presence in LV.

If you are looking for an area to live that you will not have any rail road noises, then St George is for you. There will never be a railroad to St George due to the terrain, etc.
