I wouldn't expect much from St. George OP. I have lived in Cedar City for the past year (50 minutes away) and have visited St. George multiple times. People don't go out and it is EXTREMELY hard to meet single good looking people. No one drinks so go figure. Sure you will see good looking young people all the time at Walmart or at the store but they are with a significant other or have 3 kids in tow. I am 27 and have struggled. To meet people you will most likely have to sift through online personals and everyone (98%) will be LDS and will want to get married next week or want to play kiddie games. The people I have dated have almost all been LDS and are quick to jump the gun on a relationship. Very different for me as I am from the midwest (Indiana).

Best of luck.

Born and raised in St. George and am about the same age as you. St. George has its ups and downs (like anyplace will) I think there really isn't much of a night life whatsoever here. You kind of need to meet people and social gatherings happen a lot at private house parties/get togethers. Stg has one bar "The One and Only" not always the best crowd there but I don't mind people watching from time to time so I enjoy it upon occasion. Other than that there's a Wing Nuts/ Buffalo Wild Wings, Texas Roadhouse etc to go "hang out" at but nothing in comparison to a city. A lot of people in Utah in general do get married at a young age but there is still a single market in your demographic.
There are a lot of outdoor enthusiasts here so that's a perk. St.George is a great place to live but it does get boring but like you said Vegas is close enough right?
