IIRC, Tesco is pulling out of their United States experiment, and it's uncertain what's going to happen to the Fresh & Easy chain after they try to sell it off to any possible interested parties.

Thx for all who replied!

Our first offer got accepted and we're moving into the new tonaquint area.

I'm stressing a bit about extending the driveway and building the rv pad, if anyone knows a pro...

There's miles of dirt trails behind us, cant wait to take the jeep out!

You drivers worry me. In Vegas you're always 3x more likely to get in an accident. I also noticed the closer you get to dixiedowns the worse the drivers get heh.

Overall tho, this looks like an amazing town. Looking forward to raising my familyand retiring here. Cheers.

May never happen. I love Trader Joe's, but the majority of their money is made on wine and liquor sales. Yes, there is a Trader Joe's in SLC, but there's a much larger community up there. Good luck traveling to Vegas for the good stuff...mini artichokes etc.

Many comments were similar to this one when it was questioned if Trader Joe's would ever establish an outlet in SLC.
The result was they did built one.
Now they are going to put in another one ...

I thought Utah doesn't allow any food to be sold in a store that sells any liquor. Oh, wait--liquor stores can't sell food. Somewhat conversely, I don't see any liquor mixers, such as Schweppes Bitter Lemon, sold in groceries. Making a rum cake? Check the hours before you make that extra trip for the rum part. Oh, wait again--people who live here don't make rum cake.

Sorry--I guess--for the sarcasm today.

+1 for a Trader Joe's.

St. George would be a great location for a Trader Joes and also for a chain like Fresh Market or Sprouts.
