With reports of mysterious, unexplained, even haunting hum sounds all over the planet, we have such a "hum" right here at home. Several people in the Green Springs area I've talked to around Green Springs Heights Drive in Washington have all reported hearing the same pulsating hum, particularly at night when all background "white noise" is obsolete (i.e. dishwashers, air conditioning, fans, traffic etc.).
This faint, yet very obvious hum is an unfamiliar low-tone, pulsating pitch like no other familiar sound linked to a running motor etc., sometimes the hum will even be at a high enough pitch that it causes my eardrum as well as others' I've talked to about it to vibrate in the night. Anyone else recall such hums in the area?

Don't worry about it...it's probably just FEMA drilling underground caves for the FEMA death camps I heard about from glen beck

LOL...I haven't heard it, but understand it tajes a lot of power to run all of those NSA computers up in SLC as they collect data on everyone. Perhaps it's coming from there...does it sound like the whir of a hard drive capturing data illegally.

Maybe Dugway has some new toys they're playing around with. I'll try to keep an ear out for the sound.

Same mysterious pulsating hum being heard right now, 6:06am Green valley/Dixie Downs area, St. George. Very potent, vibratious humming.

Tyler - there's a joke in there somewhere re:"vibratious humming" LOL! Still haven't heard the sound.

The only thing I can think of is the big electical substation about 2 miles to your south off of Cottonwood Springs Rd/Old Dump Road...those installations always seem to hum. Maybe they upgraded some equipment there recently.

I have been hearing a hum that sounds like a fan running since last wed.... (During a snow storm it started) -- It varies in intensity.... Pulsates up and down.... I can hear it outside also.. Very faintly in the distance..... I cant tell where its coming from!

I have heard underground drilling may cause these things..... I only hear it around my house.... If I goto the store about 5 miles away its not there.......

Its quite annoying and kinda scary! (Not knowing what it is)

I think there's a Red Flag military practice operation going on right now. Sometimes when multiple helicopters get going they create thrumming, it might have something to do with the military exercises, maybe.
