We are looking at various areas in st george. We are undecided about sun river but want some sort of social structure. Bloomington hills country club offers a social membership with bridge and pickleball. We are in our 60s and not lds. Does anyone have any thoughts on how we would fit in in that community and that club?

We are also looking at ivins but would like to find a community with an active bridge club so that we can meet people.

Any help is appreciated.

A separate issue - any thoughts on buyers agents that would be working for us rather than the seller.

Thanks in advance.

Found that there is a community bridge club. Community Duplicate Bridge Club* * * * * * * *St. George, Utah - Home

We used a regular RE agent and not just a buyers agent. Any agent that works for you is not working for the seller as long as you don't use the same agent selling that particular home. I know two great agents who I highly recommend. Let me know if you want their names.

Hi - we are hoping to find some evening bridge games. All seems geared towards afternoons here. Also looking for social bridge clubs. Since we play pickleball and tennis - looking at bloomington for that as well. Trying to decide between sun river where there are plenty of activities and a regular subdivision where we would be more on our own. Plusses to both but we would want to know we could form friendships here. We don't have relatives or close friends here so it is a concern.

Regarding buyers agents - i think it has to be a buyers agent agreement to shift loyalty from the seller to the buyer. And i think there is a conflict if the brokerage has the listing. At least those are arizona rules i think. There are lots of agents but since only a few brokers it seems a conflict could arise. Please correct me if i am wrong on the rules. We were only able to fine one brokerage that only represents buyers.

Thanks in advance for any help.
