I am considering relocating and STG is one place on my list. I would need to visit out there first.

I'll turn 52 next year, but will still need to work. I have Bachelor's degree in broadcasting and some additional training in IT (no CISCO certification though). I don't expect to find anything in broadcasting, but I am wondering about employment for people with degrees out there.

Thanks.

Not being a major metro area, employment opportunities are more limited and pay tends to be lower than in more heavily populated areas. I would make sure to have a job secured first and then move, not vice versa.

There is a TV station and there are several radio stations so I wouldn't rule out broadcasting without trying.

Thanks for the info! Maybe I'll pay a visit out there next year and check it out.
