Non Mormon residents of Saint George UT
I've read that there is a group here in Saint George UT of non Mormon residents that get together. I've been here four and a half years and have been looking for people who share the discrimmination factor that exists here.
How do I get in touch with you guys?

I know this post is almost a year old but I was hoping you or someone else could elaborate on the discrimination you have encountered. We are non - mormon and looking at property in St. George so obviously we would be interested to hear what you have to say.

I moved to St George about 13 years ago, am not LDS and have never really had any of the problems that are talked about outside of Utah. Just my experience.

Just my two cents.......We just bought a house in St. George 3 weeks ago because we love the beautiful area and want to get back there closer to my kids in northern Utah. Since I am not a resident yet and am a mormon, maybe you won't take my opinion, but my real estate agent who was from CA, is a non-mormon and has lived in St. George for 18 years, said she wouldn't live anywhere else. Said it was the best thing that happened to her and her family. I think you will be just fine. It's not as mormon populated as one would think in that area, since alot of people come there to reitire or are snowbirds from all areas of the U.S. It actually is very diverse group of people from what I have heard.

Yeah, take the original post with a grain of salt... Obviously no one replied to her a year ago, so I don't think anyone really shared her "experience" (at least at the time).

thank you for the responses...Our experience with mormons in general has been nothing but positive so I was surprised to read the original post. The mormons where we live now in Nor Cal tend to stick together but that is just normal to me (birds of a feather stick together). However, they are friendly and our kids play together, go to school together, play sports together etc. and I am sure it would be that way in St. George also.

Glad you had a good experience in N Ca. Hope in St George your experiences will be equally great.
