A new airport will be built, but the large planes won't be using it yet. The DOT doesn't believe the volume of traffic exists yet that justifies service from commercial airlliners. The planes providing service will be commuter airliners (a bit smaller)

Eventually it is going to be international, but the great thing is that it will take less than a half an hour to get to Vegas, which from there you can go anywhere you want.
