I have recently moved to St. George to help care for my Father who is in poor health. I have been looking for a group of Harley riders to join up with so I can stop riding alone. Back home the local Harley shop was the center of all events and weekly rides. The shop here is lame. I looked at their calander and it was blank for the entire month of May and June! Isn't this spring? Anyway, if I am wrong about the shop, I apologize but I can't seem to find anything.

It would be cool if I could find a few couples (my girlfriend loves to ride) or at least a few people to go on rides, BBQ's share a few coldies etc. If you are out there, contact me before I ride another mile alone. I am not LDS and neither is my bike. I will definately ride with LDS members. <--Deleted-->

Have you been to the Harley shop off of I15 north of town? Might meet some folks there.

Default - from Marin to SG

Coming from Marin sounds like you're heading for interesting social, cultural and lifestyle shocks.

It's good to see your posts and your reaching out, identifying interests....

Many trends in SG are moving in your direction but hope you have patience.

I fully understand what is in store for me living in St. George. The reality is, all I really need is a few other people with similar interests and background. It doesn't matter what the general population is like as long as I am surrounded by a few others similar to me. I don't have time for too many people and find that a few solid friends is all anyone has time for. I am into quality not quantity.

By the way, I am patient and get along with almost everyone I have ever met. Thanks for the note.

There are a lot of us who ride, might not be a harley, but we ride
for the same reasons... I ride a Yamaha 1700 RoadStar chopped-Bobber
and ride with anyone who is into the ride, not what they ride. Are you
strickly looking for harley riders? If not, you may try checking out other
shops in your area... or find a charity-ride going on in your area.
Charity-rides are great for a couple of reasons.. helping a good cause..
and meeting new friends. Good luck with your search!

No, exclusive Harley is not the pursuit. I have had a few bad experiences with riding with crotch rocket enthusiasts. I am not against them at all, in fact, I have my eye on a Buell myself. It's just that the goal is different for that type of ride. I was into going for it all when I was younger but I like the contolled aspect of a long ride with fellow Harley riders. I did have a little anomosity towards people who invested into the foreign market until I realized the harsh reality that we live in a world market. I am a hard core patriot and I like to buy American when I can but the last aftermarket product that I recieved from HD was stamped made in China. So... if I wanted to belong to an exclusive American club, I would be riding alone forever.

I would love to ride with anyone and am open to just about anything as long as I am out on the road and having fun with others who enjoy the same.

Default A few flyers, simple website, waalaaa! You have rides!

Low key rides are pretty darn easy to plan & organize in advance.
