Default Ethnic Restaurants

Hi, I am new to the area from Texas (originally NY). I found Rickshaw Asian Gourmet has the best wonton soup I ever had. It's in one of the shopping centers on Sunset. I just did it as carry out & my husband prewarned me that one serving is a lot; a meal in itself, so I have not tried anything else on the menu. I have guests coming in the next couple of weeks, perhaps that will be one place to take them to so I can sample some of the other items on the menu.

In last weeks paper, there was a review on a new Indian restaurant called India Kabob Curry. Here is a link to the article: Intriguing dishes highlight India Kabob Curry | thespectrum.com | The Spectrum
I also heard there was an Italian restaurant in the area, but have not run across it. It is Scaldoni's (Sp?). Perhaps someone can post an opinion & lead the way. I did find a good review regarding an Italian restaurant in Mesquite (30 mi. away) called Hugo's. I plan to try in next time I have to pick someone up at the airport in Vegas. I would love to see some French cuisine enter the area.

Uhmmm .... a bit off topic ...
When you do go to Mesquite, look at a place called Casa Blanca.
Then wonder what the heck is going on with these people ?

Casa Blanca is a Pink Building ????

I have been to the Casa Blanca. What exactly do you mean "then wonder what the heck is going on with these people"?

Casa Blanca = White House
The Casa Blanca in Mesquite is PINK !!!!

Similar situation with the Chevrolet that is/was called NOVA !!!
In Spanish speaking countries, NOVA means *no move* .....

Complete the reverse with the Swedish VOLVO which means *I move* ....

Kinda strange if you see the words and then the items associated with it.
