Are there any carriers that anyone could recommend? I'm shopping for a new phone/provider that I will get in San Jose, CA, but will eventually end up needing to work in St. George/Hurricane. Everyone says their coverage of St. George is good, but I'm looking for personal opinions and experiences, good or bad.

The sale go through? Ready to "come on down"

Right now South Central is offering a some good bundling options.

They have upgraded a lot of equipment recently. I use them for home/internet and will probably switch when my cell contract is up.

My cell is Alltel/Verizon, pretty happy with it.
Actually have 3 for my business.

It really depends on where you will live. When I first moved here I live in green valley and got no reception at all, and this was the case for almost every carrier because the backside of the "airport hill" just does not get a signal. I had sprint, my husband had south central, my MIL had t-mobile, neighbor verizon and Qwest (att) and no one could get 1 bar!

South Central is local and has some decent rates (compare it to a cricket service in CA) but it is only local so if you travel this is not an option.

I think the best coverage is Verizon. I know going towards enterprise, dammeron valley, diamond valley they are the only company that gets a signal.

I guess it depnds what is most important coverage vs cost. Coverage I say verizon, cost Boost/sprint.
