Default Relocating from Cali to St. Georege

My name is Jessie, I am 20 years old, engaged, and planing to relocate to St George. I was hoping to get some feed back on the area. I already have a job lined up and the thing i am worried about is getting an Apartment. I don't have the best credit, but i have a spotless background is this going to be a problem in finding a place to stay? Here in cali not all apts check your credit so it makes it a bit easier to find a place and i was wondering if Utah is the same.

There are very few apartment complex in st george. They are all almost run through property management companies and they all check credit and your job. Almost all rentals are run via property managment. There are three big property management places in town, all seem to have bad reviews, I have used 2 with good credit in th epast (5+ years ago) and I have been unhappy with both. You might luck out on craigslist being a roommate to start or basement apartment.
I would post on craigslist for what you are looking for and see if something works out.
The property management companies will still take you will bad credit, they just make you put down a big deposit.

I agree with jbkmam's advice of checking on craigslist.

The St. George Craigslist is becoming increasingly popular.
