There are some beautiful homes and cool scenic back roads in the back part of Florissant that I don't think many people even know about.

Thats bs, Florissant is NOT TERRIBLE!!! Thats one of the better parts of North County compared to Jennings and Riverview.. those areas u should stay away from, but FLORISSANT is a nice, interracial, settled suburb to be in. And the school district is GOOD, Mcluer and Mcluer North are very accredited schools.

North County is a cool area, but I know places in Jennings where the pizza delivery man wont even go, NO EXAGGRATION!!!! It shocked me as well, cause me and friends where the one ordering the pizza.

When most people think of a ghetto or hood place in NoCo they usually say Jennings, Riverview, Moline Acres, or Bellefontaine. I am in these areas on the daily and yes they are pretty bad but there are a couple of areas that in my experience are the worst areas in the county. Kinloch and Castle Point.Kinloch is located at Scudder Rd. and Hanley right by Berkley before Frost Ave. One night my friend and I were cruising a couple blunts on Hanley Rd. and decided to turn onto Scudder Rd. For about 4 blocks there was nothing but rubble and piles of rocks and cement where houses used to be. Then we see a few houses. We thought by now that any houses that were there would be boarded up and deserted but then we see a few houses. These houses could not have had more than like 3 rooms in them. They were falling apart but there were lights on and cars infront of them. After that we get up to Mable Ave and see some flat two stary housing projects. There was about 20 people standing outside drinking and smokin and a few cars lined up with people leaning in the windows obviously sellin drugs. We immediatly turned around and tried to find our way out. We drove past the Kinloch police station and freaked out ( because we were smoking weed and white in the statistically blackest area of the county). Ive also been to Castle Point but the houses arent that bad. They look somewhat like the long houses in Dellwood and Berkley. My friends dad is a policeman in CP and has also been one in Jennings and Baden among other places and says that he has worse calls in Castle Point than anywhere else.
