There were some pretty bad projects along Tucker near Lafayette Square. We used to drive by them on the way to Cardinal Games. I think they've since been demolished as well.

I was pretty young when Pruitt Igoe went down.

The projects I vividly remember were the ones on the south-side near the city hospital. We used to always take 44 to baseball games or anytime we went downtown and would always drive by them.

Those were the Darste-Webbe projects, weren't they? They seemed massive, but they must have been small compared to Pruitt-Igoe, judging from the pictures. When did they come down?
