Need help moving to st louis
My family and i will be moving to stl in next 2 weeks and need help in what area to live.I will be working at the airport and we have 2 small kids, ages 3 and 6. We will be looking to rent a condo, townhome or house and looking to pay about 900 for 2-3 bedroom. Not sure if this price is realistic but thats what im aiming at. I want to be withing a 30 minute drive of airport, safe area with not much crime and good schools. Also we like smaller towns if there are any suburbs left that are not to crowded. Any help is appreciated thanks

Check this out
I went through several agencies and even paid one who found nothing for me and found there was a shortage of rentals in Ozark where I am moving to next week from California. I checked Craigslist.com and found my rental house there. Check it out, I hope you have luck like I did.

Ok I have an idea for ya
My place is for sale - ya can buy it and your in a small town .. country life etc............ then take the St. Charles Ferry to work will take ya less than an hour ... <<<WINK>>>
without the ferry I am about 1 hour from the airport - there is always traffic to consider.
Ok that was sort of --------- of me .. but hey cant blame a girl for trying right? lol
Well if you need childcare and you decided to move to my area give me a pm .. I have a lic. home daycare.
Small towns mean different things to different people .. what life do you wish to have for you and your family? Culture? education? activities?
I could tell you to live somewhere but it could be pointless to tell you if its not things you are interested in ...
I am a country girl couldn't ever live in the big city .. St. Louis is too go go go for me .. simple and quiet ... farm setting .. ponds.. fishing etc ... just depends on what you like y a know!

Airport
Housing near the airport is mostly small homes and the area is not very safe and known to have a drug problem. Your best bet would be to live in St Charles or O'Fallon. There is a new town called New Town you might want to check into. It is safe besides new and is near Hwy 70 and 370 and would be less than a 30 minute drive to the airport.

St Charles would probably work for you. It an historic town with a small town feel. Good schools and friendly people.
