I believe this is the one article I've read about the service: A Look Back

I discovered the "Look Back" section of the P-D about a month ago and have really enjoyed reading a lot of the articles.

My Dad used to take that train everyday to his job a Union Electrick from the Kirkwood station back in the early 50's.

I've used Metrolink now 3 times to the airport as an alternative, and am saving about 62 bucks plus gas each time. 30 minutes from the CWE to the airport, no complaints whatsoever.

Not yet. The heavy blue line is wishful thinking. The thin blue line shows what already exists.

Here are the full built plans for the ST. Louis area , St. Louis has set itself up nicely for the next 50 years.....your also doing a good job with developing around your stations unlike Dallas....

Starter Streetcar , could be 80 more miles of Streetcar in St. Louis



Full build LRT , Commuter and BRT

Metro just won a $700k grant to put toward properly planning the high speed brt lines.
