Default What's the "Cahokia accent" like?

I've heard it said that people who grew up in the Cahokia area speak with a subtle yet distinct accent. It can supposedly be heard in Dupo, East Carondelet, even as far south as Columbia. Since I know nobody from that area, I can't confirm this. Anyone else?
