I forgot to mention 2001 - thats still my favorite series of all time with game 7 one of the greatest games ever.

That said, this series has been up there as one of the best, no doubt!

Excellent game; one of the best I've ever seen. But I'm a Rangers fan.

Dammit: Nelson Cruz shoulda had that fly ball to the righfield wall in the bottom of the 9th. The game woulda been over and the Rangers would now be World Series Champs.

I will be in Houston tonight, which should be real interesting. Hope I don't get in a drunken brawl with some fools!
Right, the game was just all over the place, you had no idea what to expect.

I was fortunate to be able to go and take my two oldest sons (12 and 13). It was quite a treat.

Also enjoyed taking the metrolink to and from the game from the Shrewesbury station. It was really rocking after the game.

Unless the Cardinals can close the door tonight, I'm said to say that for St. Louis, the victory in game 6 might not mean anything. However, I will say that if we lose tonight, it's certainly a more dignified way to go out then the alternative we nearly faced last night. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that doesn't happen though. The Cards have come too far to lose. Hopefully they will follow the same path the 1986 New York Mets did....come back to win Game 6 and then completely blow away their opponent in Game 7. The keys in this game will be scoring first, scoring a lot of runs, and choosing the right starter. I personally would rather see Chris Carpenter pitch on short rest than Edwin Jackson. Or Kyle Lohse instead of Jackson. But I'll take what I can get.

I don't know about the best game because there were quite a few errors that only a little-leaguer would be forgiven of, however definitely exciting though and its like I just don't want to see the World Series end.

Did anyone go to the Peabody to see the movie? I think I'm getting it for Christmas.
