I am shopping for a new gym that has indoor pool & hot tub within 10-15 minutes of the Central West End. So far I've toured the Heights in Richmond Heights, the Clayon Center and Wellbridge. The Heights & Clayton Center were nice, but seemed heavily populated with lots of children. I immediately fell in love with Wellbridge until I found out the monthly rate of $125 which includes a corporate discount. My friends living in Manhattan & LA do not even pay those prices. Lifetime Fitness in Chesterfield which is very similar to Wellbridge is only $65 a month.

Does anyone have feedback regarding Wellbridge? Is is really worth those prices?

I've heard really great things about that gym, but that is very pricey, not sure it would be worth it to me.

I looked into Wellbridge when I lived/worked very nearby, and the price was astounding. I would never pay that much for gym membership; I'm guessing people pay that much to be able to say they're members there or something, because that price is far, far above other gyms in the area.

When do you want use the gym? The Center of Clayton has swim classes on the weekends, but on weekday mornings (at least early morning) there aren't many kids.
