When I was looking at apartments back in May/June, I noticed their listings at different addresses had the same exact photos. I never ended up making any appointments to look at any of their places, so I can't say for sure whether they use "stock" photos in their CL ads or if they just ended up remodeling a lot of places to look the exact same.

To the OP: I would definitely come up here and visit to look at the neighborhoods and apartments. STL (in fairness, like all cities) is very patchy. You're fine in any of the suburban areas but the city life definitely leaves some undesirable characteristics. This will be true of areas 'close to CWE' (but not truly located IN the CWE) as well as Washington Ave and U-City.
