Tons of suburbs out there, and I'm sure you can find gated communities if you're bringing enough $$ to the table. What would you be afraid of in St. Louis threads when you're planning to live in a gated community in the suburbs? LoL, sorry Smithajoy, but i'm really feeling this is a flamed troll-job more than anything. Same feeling I got when I read the first post.

Maryland Heights or Creve Coeur as I formerly suggested would still top my list for you. I'm not sure if either have any gated communities- but they're definitely suburban, and definitely safe!
