Cheap Apartment in Decent Area (St. Louis: home, neighborhood, college)

I looking to move to St. Louis for a 1+ year contract job in the IT field. My family will be back home so all I need is a studio.

Where should I look?

What area of STL will you be working in, Central West End seems to have tons of studios in that neighborhood.

P.S. What part of IT are you in, I'm in I.T. also but I'm still trying to get my feet wet

The company is located near the intersection of S Jefferson Ave and I-64.

I have been in the IT field since 1992. I started out as an EE out of college but I found IT to be better than engineering.

I have done some of everything from app dev to management to infrastructure. I have been a Network Admin/IT Manager for the last 5 years.
