You will find that quite often such occurs... someone posts something, and many many months if not over a year passes and then the thread rejuvenates due to someone trying to be helpful and/or asking a similar question. Yea, at times its quite funny, but can also look at it as someones helping, no matter how old the original post and/or previous post are. But, does strike a when there is a post referring directly to the OP w/ a reply, when its very clear that its done gone/past...

Moving to St. Louis
I would recommend looking on the west side of St. Louis, outside of the city. O'Fallon, MO is considered one of the top 100 cities to live in. It's safe, clean and progressive as well as affordable. Also West St. Charles or St. Peters. Childcare is more affordable in these areas and housing is reasonable.

We have a baby due in May. My job is promoting me to Regional Management of St. Louis to open the new territory. We will be on a tight budget for the first year and could use some really good advice.
Where is a great place to rent a townhouse for under 1000 a month near St Louis area. We are also wondering what the average Electric bill is a month, Water bill, Car insurance, and state taxes.
Any info would be great for our move, again, this is a very scary situation for us and we want to be as prepared as possible for the move.

true, the OP is 2 years, and the last previous post was 1 year old also... however, part of the beauty of CDF is that help can come years later, and while may be not relevant to the OP's situation, can be helpful to others in similar doings. And yes, lol, 'tis is humorous...
