I'm sure it won't compare to Florida (we lived there for 2yrs in college--and I still miss the abundant seafood!) but I saw pretty good prices on seafood at the Farmer's Market in Soulard and there's a Bob's Seafood Market on Olive, right past I-170. I was wasn't too impressed with it the one time I've been in there. The prices were a bit high and the employees (pretty young) didn't know enough to even answer my questions.

St. Louis is lacking in strong seafood restaurants. Sure you may do okay here or there, but really not a lot of quantity or quality imo...not one of the strongsuits of STL dining.

Hmmmm,,, is it wise for someone using a moniker that has fish in it be posting regarding seafood?!?!

Seriously, have ya ate at those I listed, just as a for example? Nope, not necessarily disagreeing [for instance, Landry's has a bad rep for service being slow and food being cold at times...], just asking your opinions of these.
