Default Moving to Chesterfield: Looking for some apartment advice, Please

Hello, I'm 21 M from Pittsburgh. I'll be moving to the Chesterfield area in May to go to school at Logan College of Chiropractic, but I will not be able to make it out to look at the apartments first hand, and I do not know much about the area. I am looking for an apartment just by myself...preferrably in chesterfield. I can't afford the most expensive apartments.

I have been looking mainly at Chesterfield Place and Hunter's Glen but am open to other suggestions.

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!, Thank You.

Any apartment you find in Chesterfield is going to be fine as long as the price is right. I know a few students who live in Baxter Crossing apartments. My daughter used to live in Chesterfield Place about four years ago. Logan is in a great location (of course, I live just up the street

Hey STEELERS_IUP
We are relocating to Chesterfield and have been doing research on line about the apts for several months now. We have narrowed it down to a few good ones and are going in march to check them out. Some we like so far:
Chesterfield Village
Orchard Village
Westbrooke Village
we compared sq ft, price, amenities, pet policies and location. On line has helped alot some complexes have weird things like only the town homes will have washer/dryer hookups or some have electric washer but gas dryer, just weird stuff like that. Good luck. Try forrent.com

I hope you have a car, you'll need it. Chesterfield is a very suburban family, kid friendly area 30 plus minutes West of St. Louis. With the Hwy 40 construction project going on, that amount increases significantly until the end of 2009.

You scored well for nice part of town and safety, but poorly in the areas of many people your age. It's definitely smack in the middle of modern suburbia.

Public transportation options are limited to the bus system. The Metrolink ligh rail isn't out that far yet.
