I am headed to St louis with my girl on5/30 to 6/2. I know of a few things to do. Arch, Zoo, Museums, River Boat Cruise. Can someone please advise me on a classy restaurant and an good AA Nightclub? We are in our forties. I am looking for a good dance club but not a young /dance club.
thanks in advance

our favorite date night restaurants are copia (on washington in downtown), 1111 mississippi (that's its address), or any place on the hill if you like italian.

we don't do night clubs, so i have no idea. do we even have night clubs?

Yes, although I am too old and boring to have recommendations.

The clubs are actually on Washington St. downtown.

Regarding The Hill, we were never a fan of the St. Louis Italian restaurants, that's probably because my grandma was off the boat from Italy and I grew up in Northern New Jersey and visited Little Italy often.

My two suggestions for dinner in the City is Vin De Set or Modesto's

Vin De Set

Modesto

For places to visit, I would highly recommend Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tour, it is free and they'll give you free beer at the end. The Zoo is wonderful as well. I wouldn't recommend a river boat tour, just doesn't seem to be worth it in my book. Another place to consider is Montelle Winery, it over looks the Missouri River and is about 30-40 minutes from the city.

Enjoy your visit to STL.
