This website shows where to look for speed traps in those small towns around St.Louis. I was looking up Belridge but you can find others here.

Thanks. The reason I was looking up Bel Ridge is because I remember seeing something on 6o Minutes years back about a tiny town in St.Louis that was leading the country in handing out speeding tickets. I thought it was Bel Ridge or Belnor but after doing some research on the internet I kind of think it was Vinita Park. Does anyone remember what town that was that became notorious as a speed trap?

Read about Foristell in St. Charles county being bad along I-70. Bella Villa can be sneakier than law enforcement claims.

Interesting stuff on that link. Bel-Ridge rigging the traffic light, lol.
There's a Youtube video of those Pine Lawn suckers lined up outside to pay their fines. You can't even see the end of the line because it's so long it goes down the street and around a building.

Some of the worst speed traps are in Lake St. Louis, a town of 15,000 that has a police force the size of the NYPD (or so it almost seems).

A town with such little crime does not need an enormous police force, unless of course generating revenue takes a priority over public safety.
