I think the Manchester area would be a great fit for you, it does have a population of Pakistani and Indian population, and is a very nice area to live in. I am not so sure about the Valley Park area, you may want to avoid it - very old and more conservative neighborhood. Manchester or Ballwin may work well for you

Depending on your background, you may like to connect with the India Association of STL (India Association of St. Louis > Home).

Maryland Heights has one of the larger Indian communities also, I believe. That's worth looking into for apartment rentals.

This page has been pretty dead for a while - same time you may have more luck in your own thread. But, all things stated. Maryland Heights does have a large community of immigrants from that general region, but I’ve always guessed many are of Indian descent. There are several apartment complexes north and south of Dorsett Rd that many immigrants and working professionals seem to flock to. And if you’re not in a hurry, there’s a new high end apartment complex being built for working professionals a couple blocks west. Great access to I-270 and about 20 minutes from most spots in the city, it’s definitely a solid community.

Good luck in your hunt!

I'm going to say Manchester/Ballwin area for a larger Pakistani population. I have a few Pakistani friends in Ballwin, Town and Country, and Chesterfield, but all doctors with families and single family homes, so I couldn't point towards apartment complexes per say. The highest concentration of restaurants and grocery stores are going to be along Manchester Rd. in Manchester/Ballwin.

Any particular building you recommend? My confusion is the reviews from renters about the apartment buildings.
