You must make a good one. I love the gooey center. What I like about Dierbergs is the entire top has a light crusty sweet crunch to it with the goo underneath. I'll let you know in a little bit. Good thing they're open 24/7, I'm on my way.

I have a recipe that my mom got from a bakery by Forest Park back in the '70's, it has the same crunchy/gooey top you just described, its my favorite part too.... am dropping crumbs on the keyboard as I type
