I am moving to St Louis in a couple of weeks, and my favorite thing to do after work is playing tennis. Just wondering if anyone had inputs as to where I could find good tennis facilities including any private clubs etc and their fees, membership details etc.

I did look up a few online but wanted to get your inputs on where tennis players among you go to play.

It might help if you specify what neighborhood you're moving to.

There's a nice one off of Clayton road (63131) area, I apologize as I have forgotten the name of it. Type Tennis club & 63131 to see what pops up on your Google search. I usually just use the neighborhood courts. Webster Groves has some nice courts at the Rexplex

I'm not a serious tennis player, but there are so many free lighted courts around STL that I would go that direction first--find a meetup group and go from there.

The list above is a good list. There are some others too depending on what you are seeking. Places range from tennis clubs to country clubs to neither. I play tennis. I am familiar with the clubs, atmospheres, staff at some of these places.

If you want a club I would suggest looking into the MAC West, the Ladue Racquet Club and Creve Coeur Racquet club:

Creve Coeur Racquet Club | Town&Style

But I know there are leagues at plenty of municipal courts, including Kirkwood Park and Des Peres Park to name two close to me. I have friends who are in regular leagues there and enjoy it.
