I'd like to open an account at a credit union. What's the best one in Saint Louis? I live in Hazelwood, if there are any near me that would be great

We have been using First Community Credit Union for many years and have been quite happy with them. They have branches all over St. Louis county including one in Bridgeton and one in Florissant which should be relatively close to you.

Go with Vantage Credit Union. Locally owned, many branch and ATM locations in and around beautiful Bridgeton, right up the road from Hazelwood.
My only caveat would be to avoid the branch at 11600 West Florissant Road:

I recently dealt with Anheuser Busch Credit Union, and wasn't very happy with the service and scheming to fork into my wallet under the pretext of fine print.
