Default What's the deal with the cloudy days?

I lived in Rolla and Kansas City and I moved to St. Louis in November.

I think since I moved to St. Louis (this winter) I've seen the sun 1-2 times a week.

Does St. Louis tend to be more cloudy than other cities that are not close to big rivers?

It could be. I lived out there awhile back & it was always overcast. I never liked the weather out there. Where we lived we experienced severe flooding,(with water up to windows),& tornadoes. The heat & humidity (especially near the river) made it unbearable.

I don't know about that. I lived in Columbia and felt we had far more cloudy days than in St. Louis. I think it's just been a tough winter!!

Personally, I love these cool, cloudy, drizzly days. Come August we'll be wishing for them to come back.

I suspect around mid-September, you will literally be BEGGING for clouds. At least I will. Then around mid-March, you will be BEGGING for sun.

Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Actually, I grew up in the caribbean about 1 hour from the beach.
So I suffer for 6 months until summer gets back.

I honestly can't stand summer in St. Louis. Spring and fall are wonderful though.

Summer can be rough, but okay if you're inside most of the time.

This thread reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld.

Change "We'll" to "I'll" and your post is fine.
