Chesterfield is a fine place to live.

Personally, It's probably not a place I would live, since it's more expensive and spread out. Being young I prefer being in a denser area and I don't like to drive everywhere. But if you like suburbs Chesterfield is fine.

It is very far from downtown and VERY spread out. And with the highway 40 closure its a total pain to get to downtown St Louis.

Oh and don't buy in the bottoms if you do. You're just asking to get flooded.

Vibrant? How are a sea of strip malls considered vibrant?

When I think of vibrant I think of foot traffic and weekend activities... when I think of Chesterfield I think of Talbot's and Acuras.
