My partner and I almost moved in to Westport station apts. they were offering a great deal for us. We really did like the them, I don't remember well the exact details of the interior because it was over a year ago... I just remember the exterior was well maintained and looked very nice. I'm pretty sure that they recently did an entire overhaul of the exterior of all the buildings, they put all new siding on them.
We decided against it because we were both working in St. Charles at the time, so it just made more sense to go out there.
Wish him luck in his search

As someone who has used that apartmentratings.com Website before I'll say this: If it's in the 40s that's actually a pretty good rating. Most people don't get on there to leave good reviews. I think it's impossible for any place to get any higher than the 50s on that site.

I think that's probably true. It is good to see what others' complaints are though.

I couldn't agree more. Especially if you start to see trends. Such as multiple people had bug problems or management problems.

thanks for mentioning that. I'm moving soon, and it's discouraging to see so many low ratings -- it makes it seem as though there are no good apartments in the st. louis area!

It's the same way in Chicago. If you read them at face value you'd think every place was condemnably dirty and that all the the managers were crooks.
