Need help moving to St Louis (St. Louis, Rea: apartments, lease, big house)

Hi all,

I have found some really nice apartments on Waterman Blvd. The addresses range from 5000 to 5150. I was wondering if that area was nice. I don't have the ability to see them as I am moving from NY and cant get time to go to St Louis before I sign my lease. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Below is a google map of the location.

Its a great location. Close to all kind of bars, restaurants, and the park. Plus its a safe neighborhood.

A short walk southeast and you are in yuppie/hipster/med area. A short walk northeast and you are in the supposed "watch your back" territory. Don't worry. It's a decent place. I'm in the same scenario. Never really been on that side of Kingshighway though. Looks like nice big houses over there for the most part (at least right by the street and not necessarily deeper in) - you know, the ones I can't and probably never will be able to afford.

That is generally known as a safe and vibrant area, though that doesn't mean it can't be a bit sketchy north of the park late at night. If you could afford it and if it were available, I'd probably want some gated parking as an occasional break-in there wouldn't surprise anyone. You also wouldn't want to venture too far north, the area starts degrading quickly once you get north of Delmar.

But I would definitely take it- I think you'd be very happy there.

Waterman has beautiful homes....I would look at other areas too. I am a Realtor...not soliciting I would be happy to answer any questions...do not want to offend anyone
