Hmmm. wonder if that's the city itself or the metro... But from what I've been seeing recently, that doesn't surprise me at all!

The metro. It's true though, prices around Florida have been dropping drastically. A house I was watching here went from $350k to $320k to $275k to $250k over the last year and it still hasn't sold. A few comparable houses I've had my eye on in the STL area haven't really budged in price, and they have either sold or been taken off the market for close what I originally found them for. I'm close to just purchasing an empty 1 acre lot, and building when I finally move up there.
