Eugh. 2 stupid penalties in the first. 1-0 Canucks.

We had a 5 on 3 and wasted it.

Luongo is impossible to score on right now.

Can hardly wait for game 2. Luongo is 1.99 for home games. Wow.

Overall, am quite proud of this ragtag young team. Nice try guys...

Even tho', esp. in the 3rd period, we were out-hustled, out-hit, out-shot, and out-faceoffed for the most part we stayed around and battled... not great, not good, but 'ok'.

Luongo played quite good - limiting rebounds to practically none.

Shake it off, regroup, learn from this battle, and win the next one.

ps: durn soooooo close there at the end... buggers...

Tough game. I don't get to watch too many up here, but enjoyed watching this one thoroughly (though I'm sure the several curse words that escaped my lips made it seem otherwise!)

Not doing anything with that 5 on 3 in the first was a damn shame, and like Shadow said, the third was all Canucks -- hopefully we can shake it off and play hard in game 2!!

Disappointing game last night. We fought hard, but there's some things we could have done better.

Let's go out there and win Friday!

Blues down two games to none.

By the way, I hate Canucks fans. I don't care how much you hate Backes. Leave his wife out of it. Saying inappropriate things about Backes, trashing his website with his wedding pictures on it, is simply classless. That's not passion. That's insanity. Fans are acting like immature teenagers with no respect at all for the game or others players families. Vancouver doesn't deserve to win this series. If they eliminate us, whoever they play next needs to obliterate them, even if it's the Wings or the Blackhawks. This fanbase is one of the most classless I've ever run across.

Time to bring the Blues home and win here.
