Ferguson??? (houses, school district, live)

I am looking for information on Ferguson. Is it a nice safe place to raise children? Ive heard the school district is pretty good. I need help ASAP. Im scared of making a poor decision, as Iwill be new to the area

It's alright. It's nowhere near the best place, but it's not the worst either.

Most of Ferguson is plenty safe and the schools are typically about average or slightly above (You can check out greatschools.net for more info on particular schools)

What other factors are going into your decision? Where will you be working and what kind of commute would you like? What kind of budget do you have?

My sister-in-law lives in Ferguson. It is mostly pretty nice, they are trying to overall improve the area. Try to keep closer to Florisant (sp?) to be in the nicer areas. There are lots of old nice houses in the area.
